Despite the fact that food with special chopsticks has deep roots, its own etiquette and traditions, it is quite easy to learn how to use them. Oriental babies quickly learn the basic movements, although they are barely a year old by then. Japanese, Chinese and Thai cuisines have long spread outside their countries, so following the traditional ritual of eating oriental food is essential.

When bringing the chopsticks together and grabbing the food, do not press hard, otherwise the food will slip out or fly out to the side. The grip should be sufficient to hold the food, but not flatten it.

Observe etiquette: • do not play with chopsticks during breaks in food; • do not carry them on the table, do not "draw" or knock; • do not prick food on sticks.
