Now no one will name the date when pizza crossed the borders of Italy and became a popular favorite. At first it was a thick dough cake, generously greased with tomato sauce. A little later, cheese was added to the sauce, and then they began to bake pizza with all kinds of fillings.

Nowadays, the variety of pizza can only be surprising - these are all kinds of meat options for fillings, mushroom, vegetable, seafood and assorted options. How can you make a classic ham pizza?

In a large bowl, mix thoroughly half a liter of warm milk, ½ teaspoon of salt and a raw egg. Carefully, without stirring, add 300-400 grams of flour, pour a packet (5 grams) of dry yeast on top of the flour and only then mix well. When kneading, add a little flour, but the dough should not be tight, it should remain soft and elastic. Then put the dish with the dough in a warm place for an hour and a half and start preparing the filling.

It is necessary to cut the onion (2 onions) into thin half rings, 3-4 ripe tomatoes into rings. Bell pepper (2 pieces), peel and chop too

half rings. Cut fresh or pickled cucumbers into slices, ham (400 grams) - into cubes or thin slices. And, of course, cheese, you need to grate it on a coarse grater.

Knead the matched dough again and place on a baking sheet greased with sunflower oil. Spread the dough all over the baking sheet, you can make pizza with sides. Then take thick tomato ketchup and spread the resulting cake and you can start laying the prepared filling. The first layer is ham, then cucumbers, lightly grease all this with mayonnaise. Put pepper on cucumbers and onion half rings on top. Grease with mayonnaise again and sprinkle with cheese thickly and put in the oven.

Pizza is baked for 40-50 minutes, served hot. I come up with options for the hostess filling on the go, according to the principle "what is in the refrigerator", but this is always a win-win and very tasty breakfast, lunch or dinner.
