Step 1

Check the food stocks in the kitchen cabinets and refrigerator. What you find there will form the basis of today's menu. In the bins, it is good to have reserve cans of canned food, homemade pickles and marinades, sauces and canned fruits, as well as any meat or fish product.

Step 2

For an appetizer, serve canapes or tartlets with a variety of fillings. It can be a simple salad like cheese, rubbed with garlic and a spoonful of mayonnaise. Shrimp meat is also suitable, mixed with any white sauce and sprinkled with a pinch of paprika.

Place the sandwiches on a separate plate. Brush slices of loaf or white bread without a crust with butter and fry in a pan on both sides. Spread the bread with pate, red caviar, soft cheese. Decorate the top with a sprig of greenery.

Pour three quarters of a cup of milk into the mixture and add two tablespoons of tomato paste, salt and pepper. Add some dried herbs. Rosemary and thyme are suitable for minced meat and sausage, for seafood - parsley, oregano and basil. Cover the pan with a lid and simmer until tender. If the sauce seems too runny for you, thicken it by adding a tablespoon of flour.

Serve freshly cooked spaghetti or rice as a garnish for meat or seafood with pink sauce. Serve on pre-warmed serving plates.

For dessert, cook baked apples. Lubricate a refractory mold with oil, core the apples and fill with a mixture of honey and chopped nuts. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake until the apples are tender. You can also cook this dish in the microwave. Before baking in it, do not forget to prick the fruits with a fork so that they do not burst.

Step 9

Another quick dessert option is fruit salad. Cut fresh and canned peaches, apples, bananas, pineapples and oranges into small pieces of the same size. In a deep bowl, mix them with two tablespoons of liquid honey and the same amount of compote syrup. Place the mixture in serving bowls or glass bowls, add some peeled pine nuts to each. Keep the bowls in the refrigerator before serving.
