Pina Colada is a drink based on coconut milk, white rum and condensed milk. The eponymous liqueur is an industrial version of a ready-made cocktail.
Liqueur "Pina Colada" is rarely consumed in its pure form, as it has a rich taste with a pleasant, but sugary aftertaste. There are many cocktail recipes based on this liqueur that pleasantly refresh, invigorate, or, conversely, relax.
Peach Leap
A very invigorating cocktail "Peach Leap" is prepared from two types of liqueur at once. One is Pina Colada, the other is any peach-flavored liqueur. The cocktail is pleasantly refreshing and invigorating if consumed in moderation. In addition to liqueurs, you will need:
- ice crumbs;
- Pineapple juice;
- lemon juice;
- cocktail cherry.
Place crushed ice on the bottom of a tall glass. Pour in 30 grams of peach liqueur. Add 20 grams of Pina Colada to it. Without stirring, pour in 70 grams of pineapple juice, 20 grams of lemon juice. Garnish the cocktail with a cherry. It is recommended to drink through a straw to feel the taste.
Pina colada
To make a cocktail of the same name for a liqueur, you need only two ingredients: liqueur and pineapple juice. Mix 2 parts liquor and 8 parts juice. Decorate the cocktail with a straw or umbrella. For an even more sophisticated shake, you can add coconut flakes and a spoonful of coconut milk. This cocktail perfectly refreshes in hot weather, has a rich taste and aroma. Belongs to the category of low alcohol drinks.
The same cocktail can be made stronger. Required:
- liqueur "Pina Colada";
- Malibu liqueur (or any other coconut liqueur);
- Pineapple juice;
- Orange juice.
In a tall glass, mix: 30 grams of each liquor with 20 grams of each juice. Mix the cocktail thoroughly with a straw. Be careful: despite the low-alcohol aftertaste, the drink fogs the head very well.
Kokomo Joe
This cocktail relaxes well. It contains three alcoholic drinks at once: two types of liqueur and white rum. In addition to them, you will need:
- half a banana;
- ice;
- a slice of orange.
Prepare "Kokomo Joe" in a shaker or blender. Mix 30 grams of Pina Colada liqueur, 30 grams of any banana liqueur, 20 grams of any white rum, and half a banana. Shake well (the banana should be chopped as much as possible). Pour the drink into a tall glass, add ice. Decorate the glass with an orange slice. Such a cocktail, although it is low alcohol, can quickly lead to intoxication. The recommended amount is two servings.
