Therefore, the creators of the original black vodka fought for a long time to ensure that it remains authentic in all organoleptic characteristics. In addition, it was fundamentally important that it does not become cloudy and does not stain the tongue.
The solution was found by the British company The Original Black Vodka Company, created by marketer Mark Dorman in 1996 and at the forefront of the local distillery industry. Branded English vodka is called simply - BlaVod (an acronym derived from the phrase black vodka). It meets all technical requirements, has a reddish-black iridescent hue and tastes the same as traditional. It has nothing to do with liqueurs and liqueurs and is a full-fledged vodka.
BlaVod is a double-filtered and triple-distilled vodka with a mild taste.
The subtleties of production and fashionable recipes
The dye used to make it is called black catechu and is extracted from the cores of the catechu acacias native to South Asia and Central Africa. For centuries, this dye has been used by locals to dye fabrics. Now it has found application in the food industry, it has no specific taste or aroma and does not stain the oral cavity.
It is curious that when mixing BlaVod with other drinks, it can acquire the most unexpected shades. When mixing black vodka with water, the drink becomes silvery, with orange juice - green, and with cranberry juice - purple.
