Scientists advise to eat walnuts every day: they are high in antioxidants that protect the human body from disease. But only raw, not roasted nuts have such healing properties. Fresh walnuts can be used to grow a fruiting plant. The easiest option is to buy nuts of a new crop and plant them in the fall.
Instructions
Step 1
Dig up the place where you plan to plant the nuts with a shovel on your garden plot. Make a horizontal strip 10 cm deep. Place the planting material in it. But so that the nuts lie on the edge. Cover the hole with earth on top.
Step 2
If there is a lot of snow in your area in winter, you do not need to water the planted nuts. If your winters usually have little snow, cover the ground with a 20 cm layer of fallen leaves and dry twigs.
Step 3
In this form, the nuts should overwinter. Shoots should appear in the spring. If spring is early and not rainy, start watering future plants as early as possible.
Step 4
During the summer, plants need to be watered regularly, loosened the ground next to them, weed out, fertilized (best with ash).
Step 5
In late autumn, cover the annual walnut plant again with a layer of dry grass and foliage.
