Matcha is a powdered green tea that the Japanese use in their traditional tea ceremonies. It has a beautiful green color and a bitter taste. It can be used to prepare a variety of treats, such as making such a flavored chocolate.

- - 400 g white chocolate (4 bars)
- - 1/2 tbsp. heavy cream for whipping
- - 25 g unsalted butter
- - 2 tbsp. l. green tea powder (matcha) + 2 tsp. for sprinkling

Instructions
Step 1
Chop the white chocolate with a knife.
Step 2
Cut the butter into small cubes.
Step 3
Pour heavy cream into a small saucepan and bring to nearly simmer over medium heat. When bubbles appear, remove from heat.

Add chopped white chocolate and chopped butter to hot cream. Stir until the texture is smooth.
Step 5
Sift 2 tablespoons of powdered green tea into the creamy mixture. Stir.
Step 6
Cover a 20x20 cm baking dish with parchment, pour the creamy tea mixture. Smooth the surface with a spatula, it should be free of bubbles. Place in a cool place for 4-5 hours or overnight.
Step 7
Remove the parchment from the mold after 4-5 hours. Hold the kitchen knife under running hot water, then be sure to wipe it dry with a towel or rag. The knife should not be damp.
Step 8
Using a hot knife, divide the block of chocolate into 4 pieces, then each of them into 9 more smaller pieces.
Step 9
Sprinkle with 2 teaspoons of green tea powder. Store such chocolate in the refrigerator and serve chilled.
