Madeleine citrus biscuits are especially popular in France, in their homeland. I suggest you try this wonderful dessert and treat your loved ones to it.
It is necessary
- - eggs - 3 pcs.;
- - wheat flour - 150 g;
- - butter - 125 g;
- - sugar - 130 g;
- - honey - 20 g;
- - salt - 1/4 tablespoon;
- - baking powder for dough - 1 tablespoon;
- - lemon zest - 1 tablespoon;
- - water - 2 tablespoons.
Instructions
Step 1
Combine ingredients such as granulated sugar, raw chicken eggs, salt and honey in one loose bowl with a deep bottom. Whisk everything properly.
Step 2
After placing the wheat flour in a separate plate, add baking powder, that is, a baking powder for the dough, to it. Mix these 2 ingredients thoroughly. Gently add the resulting dry mixture to the sugar and egg. Convert the formed mass into a homogeneous one.
Step 3
Add butter, previously melted in a water bath, to the bulk. You can replace it with margarine if you wish. Then put the grated lemon zest and 2 tablespoons of water there. After mixing the resulting mixture until smooth, cover it with a lid on top and put it in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or even better for the whole night.
Step 4
Remove the Madeleine Citrus Dough from the refrigerator the next morning. With a tablespoon, carefully lay it out in a special dish for this delicacy. In this form, send the future dessert to the oven, preheating it to a temperature of 180 degrees, for about 10 minutes. The best way to navigate is your oven.
Step 5
After the time has elapsed, remove the finished dessert from the form in which it was baked. This procedure is best done with a knife with a rounded end. Madeleine Citrus Cookies are ready!
