Children's birthday cake can be made not only beautiful, but also delicious. An interesting idea is a dessert in the shape of a favorite cartoon character, for example, Mickey Mouse.
Mickey Mouse Shaped Whipped Cream Cake
You will need:
- 4 eggs;
- 125 g of chocolate;
- 6 tbsp. sour cream;
- a bag of yeast;
- 50 g of chocolate;
- a bag of vanilla sugar;
- 125 g sugar;
- a pinch of salt;
- 180 g flour;
- 500 g heavy cream;
- 100 g of icing sugar;
- 150 g of canned cherries;
- 200 g of black marzipan mass;
- 200 g of white marzipan mass;
- 50 g of chocolate spread.
For the cream, it is advisable to use natural cream, and not vegetable cream, which are sold in stores already whipped.
Break eggs into a bowl, add sugar, salt and vanilla there. Mix the dough thoroughly and add flour, sour cream, softened butter to it. Melt the chocolate in a water bath and pour it into the dough too. Stir the mixture, pour into a greased pan and bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
Think about how you will decorate the cake. Search the internet for an image of a Mickey Mouse head and print it in a format that matches your cake. Cut the template out of paper. Cut the finished cake lengthwise and cut the head of Mickey Mouse out of each.
For the cream, whip the cream and powdered sugar until a thick foam is formed. Chop the cherries and add to the cream. Spread it on the space between the two cakes.
Roll out the marzipan mass like dough. From the black mass, cut a strip that is the same width as the height of the cake and wrap it around the sides of your cake. For the top of the cake, cut out the white parts of the picture from white marzipan, for example, Mickey Mouse eyes, and from black marzipan - black. Cover the top of the cake with marzipan so that your Mickey Mouse matches the image as closely as possible. Use a pastry syringe to paint additional elements with chocolate paste - for example, eyelashes.
Mickey Mouse Cheesecake
You will need:
- 200 g cream cheese;
- a pinch of vanillin;
- 4 eggs;
- 500 g of soft cottage cheese;
- 1 tbsp. Sahara;
- 150 g of black and white marzipan.
If desired, you can add ground nuts or chocolate pieces to the cheesecake.
Put the cottage cheese in a bowl, break the eggs there and add the sugar and vanillin. Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Add cream cheese and a pinch of salt and mix again. Pour the mixture into a rectangular dish and place it in a container of water. Place this in the oven and bake the cheesecake for 40 minutes. Gently remove the finished cake from the mold and cool.
Find an image of Mickey Mouse on the Internet, print and cut it out of paper. Using this stencil, cut out a Mickey Mouse figurine from the cheesecake and decorate with marzipan, as indicated in the previous recipe.
