Crazy Cake is originally from the USA, or rather from America of the 30s era. The pie turns out to be completely unusual, chocolate-chocolate, soft, aromatic and at the same time there are no eggs, milk or cream in it. But no one will guess about it by his crazy taste!
It is necessary
- Chocolate cake products:
- • Wheat flour - 3 tbsp.
- • Salt -1 tsp.
- • Granulated sugar - 1, 5-2 tbsp.
- • Cocoa powder (not Nesquik!) –0, 5 tbsp.
- • Soda - 2 tsp.
- • Vanilla sugar (vanillin) - 1-2 sachets
- • Cold water - 2 glasses
- • Vegetable oil (refined, odorless) –3/4 tbsp.
- • Table vinegar (apple cider) –2 tbsp. l.

Step 1
You can make a crazy pie in just 3 steps. First, prepare 2 bowls. We use one to combine dry products: flour, salt, sugar, vanilla sugar, cocoa and soda. Stir the dry mixture thoroughly and mix the liquids.
Step 2
In another bowl, combine water, vegetable oil, and vinegar. The resulting liquid mixture is thoroughly mixed with the dry mixture, beat a little with a whisk. Make sure there is no unmixed flour left in the dough. The dough is poured into a mold and sent to an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 40-50 minutes.
Step 3
The finished cupcake can be decorated in different ways. A common and simple option is to sprinkle with powdered sugar. Another way is to cut the cake lengthwise and layer it with chocolate cream. As a result, the chocolate flavor of the crazy pie will only intensify. Bon Appetit!
