The recipe for making the popular Italian liqueur "Limoncello" at home. It is not difficult to make it yourself, but it will take patience - he insists for 2.5 months.
It is necessary
- For 2 liters of drink:
- - lemons - 12 pcs.;
- - alcohol (ethyl) - 1 l;
- - sugar - 600 gr.;
- - soda - 1 tbsp. the spoon;
- - water (still drinking) - 1 l.

Step 1
Initially, wash the lemons and place them in a bowl. Pour in water with the addition of a tablespoon of baking soda and leave in the solution overnight.
Step 2
The next day, remove the lemons and peel off the yellow rind.
Place the zest in an airtight container and cover with alcohol. Leave to infuse for 20 days. Then filter the alcohol, the zest can be thrown away.
Step 3
Cooking syrup. Dissolve sugar in 1 liter of water and boil it for at least 10 minutes. Cool and pour the syrup into lemon alcohol. The drink should turn bright yellow. Close the liquor tightly and leave it for another month.
Step 4
Then filter the drink through cheesecloth and pour into a bottle. Leave to infuse for another month.
