Aromatic and strong lemon liqueur can surprise not only you, but also your guests. Preparing liqueur is quite simple, the main thing that is required is patience during aging. The longer you let the liquor sit, the darker and richer it will become. From the provided products, 0.5 liters of liquor is obtained.
It is necessary
- -1 kg of lemons,
- -250 ml of alcohol,
- -175 grams of sugar
- -175 grams of water.
Instructions
Step 1
Fill the lemons with water, leave for half an hour, then rinse well.
Step 2
Dry the lemons with paper towels. Remove the zest without the white part. For the liqueur, we only need lemon zest. You can cook jam or jelly with lemon pulp.
Step 3
We take a bottle (it must be clean and dry) and pour lemon zest into it. Pour alcohol into the zest. We twist the bottle and put it in a cool dark place for 7 days.
Step 4
After 7 days, take a saucepan, pour sugar (175 grams) into it, fill it with water (175 ml), put it on the fire and after boiling, boil the syrup for five minutes. Pour the finished syrup into a jar or any other container and leave to cool.
Step 5
We take out the lemon tincture and pass it through two layers of gauze. Combine the strained tincture with chilled syrup. Pour into a bottle, twist tightly and remove to infuse for another 7 days.
Step 6
After 7 days, we take out a bottle of tincture, filter it through two layers of gauze, twist it tightly and put it in a dark place for a month. After a month, we enjoy a fragrant lemon liqueur, which must be cooled before serving.
