Lemon marmalade is not difficult to make on your own. You don't have to run to the store when you want something sweet. The main thing is to have at hand a minimum of ingredients, a little free time and a desire to "conjure" in the kitchen.
It is necessary
- - drinking water - 120 ml;
- - granulated sugar - 400 g;
- - gelatin - 1 pack;
- - boiled chilled water - 60 ml;
- - lemon - 3-4 pcs.
Instructions
Step 1
Wash the lemons well under warm running water. Pat dry with a tea towel. Carefully peel the zest from the fruit, then dry it. Peeled lemons should be squeezed before juicing. Strain the resulting liquid through a sieve.
Step 2
Pour the gelatin into a convenient container, fill it with chilled boiled water. Leave the gelatin with water for 10-15 minutes, during which time it should swell. Pour the prepared drinking water into a small saucepan, add granulated sugar, mix. Bring the sweet mixture to a boil over medium heat. Next, reduce the heat, boil the boiling mass a little with occasional stirring.
Step 3
After removing the finished syrup, add the swollen gelatin to it, mix. Pour in the prepared strained juice from 3 lemons, mix again.
Step 4
Prepare the molds and fill them with the fragrant liquid. The future marmalade must be cooled and placed in the refrigerator for complete cooking. Enough 1.5-2 hours for hardening.
Step 5
Then cut the marmalade into any shapes. These can be ordinary cubes, triangles, etc. Dip the sliced lemon marmalade in sugar, put on a beautiful dish. The culinary masterpiece is ready, serve it to the table.
