In hot weather, as a rule, appetite disappears and there is only one desire - to cool down. Okroshka is an ideal dish in the summer heat. But there is also an alternative to it - this is gazpacho. This dish is traditional in Spanish cuisine. It is prepared on the basis of vegetables, and served cold to the table. Gazpacho will help not only cool down in the heat, but will also be just a healthy dish for your body.
It is necessary
- - tomatoes 500 g
- - bell pepper 300 g
- - cucumbers 300 g
- - onion 150 g
- - garlic 2 cloves
- - olive oil 100 ml
- - juice of half a lemon
- - salt and pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the garlic into small slices, chop the onion into half rings.
Step 2
Remove the skin from the tomato and cut into 4 pieces. To make the skin easier to remove, the tomatoes can be lightly doused with boiling water.
Step 3
Peel the cucumbers and cut into medium-sized slices.
Step 4
Cut the bell pepper into small pieces, having previously cleaned from the seeds.
Step 5
All of the above vegetables must be chopped in a blender, add the juice of half a lemon, olive oil, a little pepper and salt to taste.
Step 6
When additional ingredients are added, beat the vegetable mass again with a blender.
Step 7
We send the soup to the refrigerator for 3-4 hours so that it is infused and well cooled. Sprinkle the finished gazpacho with herbs and serve with crackers to the table.
