Greek salad is loved all over the world. The secret of its success lies in fresh, coarsely chopped vegetables, fragrant olive oil and the aromatic spice loved by the Greeks - oregano.
It is necessary
- - 3 ripe tomatoes
- - 2 medium cucumbers
- - 1 large red bell pepper
- - 1 large purple onion
- - pitted olives
- - 200 g of Feta cheese
- - ground black pepper, salt
- - a pinch of oregano
- - olive oil
Instructions
Step 1
Wash cucumbers, tomatoes and bell peppers well under running water, cut tomatoes and cucumbers into large slices. Remove the stalk, seeds and partitions from the bell pepper and chop it into thin circles or strips.
Step 2
Peel the onion and cut into narrow half rings, and the olives into rings, leaving a few pieces intact. Put the prepared vegetables in a salad bowl in layers.
Step 3
Cut Feta cheese into small cubes or simply crumble and spread it over the vegetables without stirring. Garnish the salad with whole olives, sprinkle with ground pepper and oregano and drizzle with olive oil, adding a little salt if desired.
