If you love savory and spicy dishes, then you will surely like the ginger and pear flip-flop pie. This pastry is quite easy to prepare, but the taste is still pleasantly surprising.
It is necessary

- - brown sugar - 50 g;
- - flour - 150 g;
- - ground cloves - 0.25 teaspoon;
- - ground ginger - 1 teaspoon;
- - ground nutmeg - 0.25 teaspoon;
- - eggs - 3 pcs;
- - honey - 80 g;
- - freshly grated ginger - 1 tablespoon;
- - soda - 1 teaspoon.
- Filling:
- - pears - 5-6 pcs;
- - butter - 2 tablespoons;
- - sugar - 2 tablespoons;
- - lemon juice - 2 tablespoons;
- - cognac or brandy - 6 tablespoons.
Instructions
Step 1
With pears, do this: peel off the skin and remove the core. Then chop them into small wedges and sprinkle with lemon juice.
Step 2
Mix 2 tablespoons of butter with 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar. Put the resulting mixture in a pan and fry chopped fruits on each side until golden brown.
Step 3
Transfer the finished pears to an empty bowl. Add cognac or brandy and the remaining sugar to the frying pan where the fruit was fried. Put the resulting mass on fire. Once it boils, cook it to a syrupy consistency.
Step 4
Grease a baking dish with butter. Pour the resulting syrup into it and put the fried fruit on it.
Step 5
Now is the time to make the dough for the future cake. To do this, combine butter with brown sugar. Whisk thoroughly. Then add eggs. Add them not all at once, but one at a time, without stopping to beat the mixture. Also add honey and freshly grated ginger. Mix well. Mix flour with baking soda, ground ginger, cloves and ground nutmeg. Put this mass to the main one. Knead the dough.
Step 6
Put the resulting dough in a baking dish directly on top of the pears. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and bake the future pie for about 40 minutes.
