The recipe for cooking the most tender fried chicken in an unusual kefir batter. Despite the fact that the chicken fillet itself is dry, with this recipe the chicken will turn out juicy and tasty.
It is necessary
- Chicken fillet - 3 pcs.
- Egg - 1 pc.
- Kefir of any fat content - 300 ml.
- Flour of the highest grade - 250 g.
- Baking powder - 1 tsp.
- Sunflower (olive) oil - to taste.
- Salt, pepper, aromatic herbs for aroma - to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
First, we need to cut the chicken fillet into 1 cm thick pieces across the fibers, like small steaks. We remove the sliced meat in a deep bowl or plate.
Step 2
Then add salt and spices to the chicken to taste, mix and let soak for about 30 minutes.
Step 3
For batter, we need to mix the egg and kefir until smooth. Add salt to taste.
Pour the baking powder into the flour, mix and pour the mass using a sieve into a bowl with an egg and kefir.
Step 4
Stir until all the lumps dissolve. The batter should be uniform.
Step 5
Preheat the pan and add a little oil.
We carefully dip each piece of chicken in batter to form a dense layer. We need this to seal the juice inside the batter.
Place the meat in a preheated frying pan and fry thoroughly until golden brown.
Step 6
Turn the chicken over and bring it to readiness under a closed lid. For baking after frying, the meat can be sent to the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 10 minutes.
Step 7
Our juicy chicken is ready. The cooked dish can be served with a variety of sauces, but teriyaki or sweet and sour sauce works best. This will maximize the taste of the meat. Can be served with a side dish or as a separate dish.
