With the onset of summer, people always prefer lighter and healthier foods. I present to you another recipe for stuffed cabbage, but not simple, but with celery. I think you will like it.
It is necessary
- - cabbage - 5-6 large leaves;
- - jasmine rice - 0.5 cups;
- - celery root - 0.5 pcs.;
- - carrots - 1 pc.;
- - tomatoes - 2 pcs.;
- - Bulgarian pepper - 0, 5 pcs.;
- - salt;
- - ground black pepper;
- - curry - a pinch;
- - bay leaf - 1 pc.;
- - allspice peas - 3 pcs.
Instructions
Step 1
Separate 6 good leaves from the cabbage. Fill a pot with water and place it on the stove. When the water boils, place the cabbage leaves in it and cook them for 10-15 minutes, no less.
Step 2
After filling a saucepan or any other thick-walled dish with water, put it to a boil. As soon as the water boils, add the pre-washed rice into it. Cook it until half cooked. Then strain the cereal with a sieve and let cool.
Step 3
Rinse carrots and celery root thoroughly, then peel and chop. Grate the first ingredient on a medium-sized grater and the second on a large grater.
Step 4
With the tomatoes, do the following: Rinse under running water and cut into small cubes. Core the bell pepper and chop it into small pieces.
Step 5
Mix chilled rice with ingredients such as chopped carrots and celery. Mix everything properly. Then season the mixture with salt, pepper and curry. The amount of seasoning depends on your taste.
Step 6
Place the celery filling on the edge of the chilled cabbage leaves. Gently tucking the sides of the cabbage, roll it into a roll.
Step 7
Put chopped tomatoes and bell peppers in a blender bowl and chop them until puree. Pour stuffed cabbage rolls with celery into a suitable saucepan with the resulting mixture. Add a small amount of water there.
Step 8
Simmer the dish over very low heat for 60 minutes. Stuffed cabbage rolls with celery are ready!
