Birthday, family holiday or gatherings with friends soon? You can make a delicate, soft, soaked honey cake, put dried fruits and nuts in the layer. This cake runs the risk of becoming a signature dish on your holiday table!
It is necessary
- -butter 100 g
- - sugar 2/3 cup
- - honey 2 tbsp. spoons
- - sour cream 2 tbsp. spoons
- -soda 1, 5 tsp (extinguish)
- - flour 2, 5-3, 5 cups
- - sour cream 0, 6 liters and 1/2 cup icing sugar for cream
- Dried fruits and nuts
Instructions
Step 1
Making cakes. Melt butter in a water bath, add sugar and honey, stir.
Step 2
Without removing the pan from the heat, add sour cream and flour 1 tbsp. spoon, mix well.
Step 3
Add quenched baking soda and remove from water bath.
Step 4
Let the mixture cool for 5 minutes at room temperature and add flour. Knead the dough. It should come out soft, warm, oily.
Step 5
Roll the dough into a ball, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
Step 6
Turn on the oven 180-200 degrees, prepare a plate or lid of the required diameter for cutting the cakes.
Step 7
Take out the dough, take a piece and roll it out on a table 2-3 mm thick, cut the cake out on a plate.
Step 8
Transfer gently to a baking sheet, prick with a fork and bake for 5-6 minutes.
Convenient to bake on baking paper.
Step 9
After baking the crust, while it is still soft, trim it on the same plate, the trimmings will go to the crumb. Place the cake carefully on a wire shelf to cool. Do the same with the rest of the test.
Step 10
Next, we make a cream. Whisk the sour cream and icing sugar.

Now we collect the cake. Put the cake on a dish, grease it with 2-3 tbsp. tablespoons of cream, add chopped nuts and dried fruits on top. Put the next cake on top, brush with cream, add dried fruits and nuts. Do the same with the rest of the cakes.
Step 12
Sprinkle the cake with crumbs from scraps of cakes and decorate as your imagination tells you.

Place the cake in the refrigerator to soak for a few hours.
