It is enough to boil it, add sour cream - and you can sit down at the table. Another thing is that dumplings (like any other monotonous food) become boring very quickly. You never know what can happen in life? Financial problems, lack of time for cooking, unexpected departure of the spouse on a business trip … For those who have to eat dumplings for several days in a row, as the easiest and fastest food to prepare, this recipe will be a real find.

In order to create an amazingly tasty dish, you just need:

  • a pack of frozen dumplings;
  • half a packet of mayonnaise;
  • half a glass of water;
  • some vegetable oil;
  • 1 teaspoon salt and some ground black pepper.

The cooking process is extremely simple: put dumplings in an even layer on a greased baking sheet. Sprinkle them with black pepper and pour mayonnaise, trying to squeeze it out in a thin stream, so that there is enough for the entire surface. Gently pour in half a glass of salted water on the side, then wrap the baking sheet with foil and send to the oven for half an hour. The resulting aromatic dish will delight you not only with its unusual appearance, but also (more importantly) with an absolutely amazing taste that cannot be achieved simply by boiling dumplings.

"Why not?" - probably this is what the student thought, who was the first to think of pouring the remnants of dumplings from a pack into his lean soup. Well, this solution could well be called the life hack of the century: the finished dish resulting from such an additive has a great taste and high energy value. Take the following ingredients:

  • litere of water;
  • a few potatoes;
  • 1 small carrot;
  • 2 small onions (or 1 large);
  • dumplings - 10-15 pieces (about 100 grams);
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil;
  • 1 teaspoon of salt.

If desired, you can add dry herbs (for example, Provencal collection) and fresh herbs to the soup.

There are two options for preparing this dish: the first is to make a regular homemade soup, and 10 minutes before cooking, instead of pasta or meatballs, add semi-finished meat products to it.

The second option is more interesting: first you need to boil the dumplings until half cooked. Then take them out onto a plate and throw finely chopped potatoes into the same broth.

Meanwhile, heat a spoonful of vegetable oil in a skillet, chop the onion into small cubes and sauté over medium heat until tender (about 6-7 minutes). While it's grilling, rub the carrots. As soon as the onion is golden, put it in a pan, add a little oil, if necessary, and fry, stirring occasionally, for another 5 minutes.

The potatoes are almost cooked during this time. Send the onion frying to the pan and let simmer for 5 minutes. Then put the dumplings in the same place and, after waiting for a boil, reduce the heat to a minimum. The soup should be simmered under the lid for no more than 2-3 minutes, then turn off the stove and let the dish brew.

Before serving, the meal can be garnished with finely chopped parsley or dill. And you can do without it: the taste, smell and appearance will be great anyway!

These semi-finished meat products are great if you need to quickly create a delicious, satisfying and, if possible, original lunch. For the meatloaf you will need:

  • half a glass of milk;
  • 2 eggs;
  • 1 tablespoon flour;
  • 50 grams of any hard cheese;
  • a tablespoon of mayonnaise and ketchup;
  • some salt;
  • fresh herbs.

Beat eggs and salt in a deep bowl, add milk, flour and mix thoroughly again.

Heat some vegetable oil in a skillet and pour the egg mixture into it. You need to fry over medium heat for 5-7 minutes. In the meantime, you can boil the dumplings.

Carefully remove the omelet onto a wide plate or board, being careful not to rip it. Place the dumplings in one layer and the herbs on one half. Drizzle in equal proportions with ketchup and mayonnaise. Sprinkle with grated cheese and wrap the omelet tightly into a roll. From above it can be decorated with a thin "snake" of mayonnaise. It remains only to put the roll in the pan and, closing the lid, hold it on low heat for 5 minutes (or send it to the oven for the same time). Before serving, the dish must be cut into several pieces. One roll makes 3-4 servings, depending on the size of the pan in which the omelet was fried.

Cheese dumplings with cream

This simple recipe is great for those who are used to using a slow cooker. You will need the following products:

  • 900 gram pack of dumplings;
  • 250 grams of sour cream;
  • 200 grams of heavy cream;
  • the same amount of any hard cheese;
  • and, of course, spiced salt.

Pour some water into the multicooker bowl, turn on the "dumplings" mode (or, if it is not in your model, you can use the "cooking", "steam" or "soup" mode). Wait until the water boils, salt it and put the semi-finished products there. After 5 minutes, the mode should be changed to "stewing" and cook for another 15 minutes.

Now thoroughly mix the sour cream with cream and, as soon as the dumplings are cooked, pour this mass into a slow cooker. Place the cheese carefully on top. Close the lid and simmer for a few more minutes.

This dish can be served both as a main dish and as an addition and a side dish - for example, a vegetable salad.

Dumplings with mushrooms in cans

Due to its high calorie content, this tasty and satisfying meal will be a good option for both a regular home meal and for a lunch break in some construction or repair team.

For 2 full servings, you will need the following amount of food:

  • 1 small pack of dumplings (450 grams);
  • the same amount of mushrooms;
  • 400 grams of sour cream;
  • 2 large onions;
  • 50 grams of butter (a quarter of a pack or 3 tablespoons);
  • salt, black pepper and paprika - according to your taste.

Peel the mushrooms, rinse and cut into large pieces. Boil in a little water for 7-10 minutes and drain in a colander. Do not pour out the mushroom broth, you will need it later.

Pour the dumplings into a separate saucepan and, after boiling, cook for 5 minutes. In the meantime, you can refuel. Chop the onion into small cubes, put in the oil heated in a pan and fry until soft. Then add the mushrooms to the onion and fry until both ingredients are golden brown.

Now you need to collect all the products in the canisters. Place an equal amount of dumplings and a piece of butter in each pot. Stir. Place the mushroom dressing in a second layer. Whisk the sour cream with 1 cup of mushroom broth. Season the mixture with salt, season and fill about 2/3 over each pot. Close the lid and send to simmer in the oven for 15 minutes.

This dish tastes so exquisite that it is served even in cafes, fast food restaurants and factory canteens. Meat and mushrooms contain a lot of proteins, which provide a feeling of satiety for a long time, and the fatty aromatic broth warms up perfectly even in severe frosts. Moreover, the ceramic lid does not allow the dish to cool for a long time.

  • 1 kilogram of dumplings;

  • 2-3 medium-sized bulbs;

In a deep bowl, stir the eggs together with your favorite spices. Salt them. Squeeze a packet of mayonnaise into the mixture and pour in a glass of water. And beat everything well again.
