The cheese dishes have a delicious golden crust and great taste. This cabbage cake is good both hot and cold. And thanks to the cottage cheese, it gets incredible satiety.
It is necessary
- 100 g cottage cheese 18% fat
- 4 eggs
- 150 gr flour
- 1 tsp baking powder for dough
- salt,
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- white cabbage about 500 gr
- 2 onions
- 1 tbsp Sahara
- 2 sweet and sour apples
- 50 gr butter
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 tbsp mild paprika
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 260 gr of hard cheese, like Emmental
- 200 gr sour cream
- a bunch of parsley
Instructions
Step 1
Knead the dough:
Mix cottage cheese with one egg and 2 tbsp. vegetable oil, add flour, baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt. Wrap the finished dough in plastic wrap and leave for 30 minutes.
Step 2
Prepare the filling:
Chop cabbage, cut onion into small cubes, apples into slices.
1 tbsp melt sugar in a deep frying pan until golden caramel mass, add butter. Add cabbage, onion, crushed garlic and lightly fry over low heat with frequent stirring. Season the filling with paprika, salt, white or black pepper, put apples on top and simmer under the lid for 10-15 minutes. At the end of cooking, add vinegar and parsley.
Step 3
Mix eggs with sour cream. Cut the cheese into 1 cm cubes. When the cabbage filling has cooled, mix the cheese and eggs with it.
Step 4
Roll out the dough into a round layer, put it in a detachable form, greased with oil, with a diameter of about 24 cm. Put the filling on the dough and bake in an oven preheated to 200C until golden brown.
