Fish hodgepodge is a tasty and healthy dish, which will not be difficult for a cook with any, even small, experience to cook.
It is necessary
- - 700 g of fish;
- - 4 pickles;
- - 2 bay leaves;
- - 2 small onions;
- - 3 black peppercorns;
- - 3 medium fresh tomatoes;
- - 1 tbsp. capers;
- - salt to taste;
- - 2 tbsp. vegetable oil;
- - 2 thin lemon wedges;
- - parsley.
- - 1.5 liters of water.
Instructions
Step 1
Take any large fish for the hodgepodge, it is desirable that it is not very bony. Well suited for this dish are salmon, pink salmon, sturgeon, stellate sturgeon, beluga, sterlet. Separate the fish fillet from the bones and cut it into slices to make 2-3 for one serving of hodgepodge. Cook the broth from the head, tail and ridge.
Step 2
Cut the onions into thin slices and lightly fry in vegetable oil. Then add the diced tomatoes to it. Transfer the vegetable fry, fish slices, diced cucumbers and capers to a soup pot.
Step 3
Pour hot broth over the contents of a saucepan. Salt fish soup, add bay leaves and pepper to it. Cook the hodgepodge for 10-15 minutes, then add chopped herbs, olives and lemon wedges to it. Turn off the heat and let the soup sit under the lid for 5-10 minutes. Serve the prepared hodgepodge with sour cream.
