An avocado and poached egg toast is a great option for a hearty and healthy breakfast. It is prepared simply and quickly.
Ingredients:
- Bread - 1 slice;
- Egg - 1 pc;
- Avocado - 1/2 pc;
- Vinegar - 2 tbsp. l.;
- Sesame seeds - 1/2 tsp;
- Salt, pepper - to taste.
Cooking process:
1. Preparation of ingredients: put water (about 2 liters) to boil, peel and chop the avocado and fry the bread on both sides in a dry frying pan. Break the egg into a bowl.
Note: any dish with low sides will do, so it is advisable to take not a glass, but a small bowl or bowl - it will be more convenient to pour the egg into the water.
2. Put the toasted toast on a plate, spread the avocado slices on top, season with salt and pepper.
3. Fry the sesame seeds in a dry frying pan for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
4. Put a pot of boiling water on a small fire (the water should not boil actively). Add 2 tablespoons of regular vinegar to the water (vinegar allows the protein to curl up) and use a spoon to spin the funnel. Wait until the funnel slows down and gently pour the egg into the middle of the funnel. Set the timer for about 2-2.5 minutes. The cooking time may be slightly longer, it depends on the temperature of the water.
5. After 2, 5 minutes, use a slotted spoon to raise the egg to the surface and assess whether the egg white is cooked. If there is still a clear white remaining, the egg should be immersed in the water for another 30 seconds. When the egg is done, remove it with a slotted spoon and gently pat the top and bottom with a paper towel to remove excess water.
Note: It is very important not to overcook the egg. Make sure that the yolk remains liquid inside.
6. Place egg on prepared avocado toast and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
