Paprikash is a classic Hungarian chicken dish. First it is fried, then stewed, ground paprika, onion and bell pepper are added. A mixture of sour cream and flour is also added to the dish, so the sauce becomes thick and envelops the chicken pieces.
It is necessary
- - 1 kilogram of chicken legs;
- - 100 grams of sour cream;
- - 200 grams of onions;
- - 200 grams of bell pepper;
- - 1 tbsp. paprika;
- - vegetable oil;
- - 2 cloves of garlic;
- - 1 tbsp. flour;
- - pepper and salt.

Step 1
Cut each leg in half.
Step 2
Peel the onion and chop finely.
Step 3
Wash the bell pepper, select seeds from it, cut into thin strips.

Put the chicken in a preheated skillet and fry it on both sides.

Then transfer the meat to a saucepan.
Step 6
Fry the bell peppers in a skillet for about 5 minutes and transfer to the chicken.

Pour 250 ml of water into a saucepan with meat, peppers and onions, pepper, salt, add chopped garlic, paprika and put on fire.

Stir, bring to a boil and simmer covered over low heat for about 40 minutes.
Step 9
In a bowl, combine flour with sour cream and a few tablespoons of liquid from a saucepan. Mix well.
Step 10
Pour the mixture into a saucepan, stir and simmer for another 10 minutes.
