There are a lot of recipes for dough for brushwood. But there are two different approaches. Brushwood can be made from batter, this requires special molds and experience, and sometimes brushwood is made from steep dough, it is much easier to cook it, and we will talk about it.

Instructions
Step 1
Beat eggs into a large bowl, add salt and vodka, mix everything thoroughly. Little by little adding flour, we knead the batter, which we gradually bring to a steep state. It is better to take flour of the highest grade and sift it first. Knead the dough until it stops sticking to your hands. Form a lump of dough and leave for 30 minutes. on the table, covered with a bowl.
Step 2
After the allotted time, roll out a very thin layer of dough and cut it into strips. The thickness of the layer should be 1-1.5 mm, that is, almost transparent. In the middle of each strip, make an incision and wrap it inside the edge so that the strip becomes curly. You can cut diamonds, triangles or flowers.
Step 3
Pour the sunflower oil into a high frying pan or saucepan, bring it to a moderate boil. Gently spread the brushwood in the oil, deep-fry it for about a minute. The baked goods should be golden brown. If the oil is too hot, the brushwood will burn, then you need to change the oil and reduce the heat. In not hot enough oil, the brushwood will become fluffy and not crispy. Put the finished brushwood on a plate, placing a paper napkin in advance, it will absorb excess oil. Sprinkle the hot product with icing sugar. A sieve can be used to distribute the powdered sugar evenly.
