It so happened that now chicken legs have become our main meat dish.
So what to do? A crisis. But if you show a little effort and imagination, then even from them you can cook a very original dish.
To do this, you will need:
- 5 small chicken hams.
- 500 gr. fresh mushrooms (champignons or tops).
- 5-6 tablespoons of low-fat mayonnaise.
- vegetable oil for frying.
- 1 medium-sized onion.
- salt, pepper, spices for meat to your taste.
We wash our hands. We take a knife, a cutting board. We turn on the stove and start cooking.
- first, carefully remove the skin from the hams. Cut the bone so that a small piece of bone remains with the skin below (a bag is obtained).
- we separate the meat from the bones and scroll it through the meat grinder.
- finely chop the onion. Fry in vegetable oil until golden brown. Add the mushrooms cut into strips to the pan and simmer until tender.
- Combine minced meat with cooled mushrooms. Add salt and spices. Fill the leather bags with all this and fry them gently in a frying pan until crisp.
- put the prepared legs in a deep mold, grease with mayonnaise (you can add garlic or other spices to mayonnaise if desired) and bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
Can be served with a side dish or as a separate dish.
Thanks to this recipe, the usual chicken legs will always be a surprise. Instead of mushrooms, you can put cheese, nuts, dried apricots, finely chopped tomatoes, prunes and whatever you want. Your dish will always have a new taste and it will never become boring.
