Every housewife wants to prepare crispy pickles for the winter. To pleasantly surprise the guests, cook pickle, and just pickles with fried potatoes go well. But pickled cucumbers are a little capricious, it is not always possible to prepare them in such a way that they are well preserved. A simple recipe for pickled cucumbers for the winter in jars without vinegar is offered.

Cucumbers, salt, water, horseradish leaves, currants, cherries, dill umbrellas, allspice peas, garlic, red hot pepper in pieces

Step 1
For pickling, it is advisable to take pickled cucumbers. Wash cucumbers, cut off the ends, soak in cold water for 12 hours.
Step 2
After soaking the cucumbers, we begin to prepare the jars. Wash and sterilize the banks.
Prepare the garlic: peel, chop coarsely. You need to take more garlic, without sparing, a couple of large heads per jar.
Step 3
At the bottom of a three-liter jar, put a horseradish leaf, an umbrella of dill, a piece of red bitter pepper, a few allspice peas. You can add bay leaves.
We put the cucumbers in a jar mixed with garlic, add more garlic.
Put spices on top of the cucumbers again: again an umbrella of dill, a currant leaf, a cherry leaf, another piece of red hot pepper.
Step 4
Prepare the brine - boil water with salt, 2 tablespoons per liter, the water must be salted, sugar is not needed. The salt should be coarse - rock salt. For a three-liter jar, you need 1, 3-1, 5 liters of brine.
Fill the cucumbers with brine and leave in open jars covered with gauze for three days.
Step 5
After 3 days, pour the brine through a layer of gauze into a saucepan, boil it. When boiling, the foam must be removed from the brine.
We wash the cucumbers with cold water right in the jar, preferably 2-3 times, drain the water through cheesecloth so as not to lose anything. Fill with hot brine and close with simple plastic lids.
