One of these unusual desserts is plums in wine syrup, for their preparation you will need the following set of components:

- filtered water;

- dry white wine (1/2 cup);

- nectarines (1/2 kg);

- granulated sugar (1/2 cup);

- ripe plum (420 g);

- dry cloves (4 pieces);

- orange peel;

- ginger root (2 circles).

Rinse the ripe plum thoroughly, separate all the bones very carefully with a very sharp knife, while trying not to touch the pulp, which must then be cut into very thin and neat slices. In a large saucepan, mix dry white wine, orange zest, granulated sugar, sliced ginger root, add half a glass of filtered water and clove buds.

Then bring the entire contents of the pan to a boiling state, then reduce the heat strongly and continue cooking the syrup for another 10 minutes. Put the sliced plums into freshly cooked hot wine syrup, continue cooking the dessert for another 5 minutes.

Turn off the burner, then leave the plums in the wine syrup under the lid until they cool completely. As soon as the dessert in wine syrup has cooled completely, it should be stored in glass jars, carefully closed with a lid and rearranged to some cool place.

Plums in wine syrup can be served on the table as a festive dessert in a beautiful deep vase made of transparent glass. You can, if you wish, decorate such a delicious and unusual dessert with slices of nectarines, as well as chopped fresh ginger.
