Step 1
Cookies are prepared quickly, do not require complex cooking procedures. We start making the Pigtail cookies. In general, there is nothing complicated in this, everything is quite simple. First, knead the dough. To do this, we beat the egg with sugar, put sour cream and butter there, which should be melted beforehand. Add salt to this mixture. Next, mix the soda with flour and gradually add to the liquid mass. We knead well (the dough should be elastic enough so that later it would be easy to weave pigtails from it).
Step 2
We roll it into a layer about 5-6 millimeters thick and cut into strips 6-7 centimeters wide. Then we take one such strip and cut it into 3 long pieces, but not completely, but leaving the top of the strip intact. And now we are braiding a regular pigtail from it. We do the same with the rest of the dough strips. We transfer all our pigtails to a baking sheet. If desired, they can be greased with an egg or butter. Then we send the cookies to the oven.
Step 3
We bake at 180 degrees, take out the cookies when they turn brown. Pigtail cookies are ready.
