A simple and tasty eggplant dish, known as "mother-in-law's tongues", will appeal to almost every spicy lover. Even an inexperienced chef can cook it.
It is necessary
- - medium sized eggplants 5-10 pieces;
- - medium sized tomatoes - 5 pieces;
- - garlic - 5 cloves;
- - mayonnaise 67% fat - about 150 ml;
- - odorless vegetable oil - 150 - 200 ml;
- - salt, flour.
Instructions
Step 1
Wash the eggplants and tomatoes.
Peel and wash the garlic.
Step 2
Cut the eggplants into circles 1 - 1, 5 cm thick. Sprinkle each circle with salt and roll on both sides with flour.
Step 3
Fry the eggplants on both sides in hot sunflower oil until golden brown.
The oil should be well heated and the frying process quick. Otherwise, the skin of the eggplant will be tough.
Step 4
While the eggplants are fried, prepare the sauce: finely chop the garlic with a knife and mix it with mayonnaise.
Cut the tomatoes into 0.5 - 0.7 cm thick slices.
Step 5
Put the fried and cooled eggplants on a flat plate, spread them with garlic sauce, put a circle of tomato, then another layer of sauce and a circle of eggplant.
Get a pyramid of vegetables, "glued" with sauce.
Put the plate with "mother-in-law's tongues" in the refrigerator for 1, 5-2 hours, so that the eggplants are soaked in the sauce and tomato juice.
