The clay pot is a unique thing. Despite its centuries-old history, he was and remains a faithful assistant in food preparation. The dishes cooked in it turn out to be especially aromatic, stewed, reminiscent of dishes from the Russian oven. The clay pot is used as a dish for preparing and serving food. Try it with pork potatoes, a simple yet delicious dish.

- 1 kg of potatoes;
- 300 grams of pork;
- 100 grams of onions;
- 50 grams of carrots;
- 2-3 cloves of garlic;
- 50-100 gr margarine;
- greens;
- water;
- Bay leaf;
- salt;
- peppercorns;

Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the pork in cold water, cut into small pieces of 20-30 gr.
Step 2
Melt the margarine in a frying pan, fry the meat in it until half cooked. Put the meat in a hot pan to keep it juicy when frying.
Step 3
Peel and rinse potatoes, carrots, onions. Cut the potatoes into small pieces, wash again in cold water. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater, finely chop the onion.
Step 4
Layer potatoes, pork, onions, carrots, chopped garlic, peppercorns, bay leaf in clay portion pots. Layers can be repeated several times until they reach the top of the pot.
Step 5
Pour hot, salted water into pots so that it covers the food. Cover them with a lid.
Step 6
Arrange the pots on a baking sheet and place in the oven. Simmer potatoes with pork at 180-200 degrees until tender (you will have to wait about an hour and a half).
Step 7
Remove the baking sheet carefully from the oven. Remove the lids from the pots. Be careful! Don't get burned by the steam!
Step 8
Sprinkle the pork potatoes with finely chopped herbs. Serve directly in the pots.
