A simple, quick and satisfying cold snack made from walnut kernels.
It is necessary
- - 2 cups shelled walnuts;
- - 5 grains of cardamom;
- - ½ teaspoon of rosemary seed;
- - salt;
- - spices to taste;
- - granulated sugar.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse peeled walnuts with cold running water. Put the kernels in a saucepan and pour boiling water over them.
Step 2
Put a pot of nuts on a fire. Boil. Cook for 5 minutes. Then drain the water, and rinse the nuts again with cold water.
Step 3
Pour boiling water over the nuts again. Add granulated sugar, rosemary, cardamom seeds, salt and spices. Put a pot of nuts on the fire. Boil.
Step 4
Cook walnuts with spices for twenty minutes. Drain the nut broth into a bowl.
Step 5
Grind the cooked nuts with a blender, adding nut water, until they become a thick slurry.
Place the nut butter on a serving dish. Decorate with herbs.
