It is hard to imagine Russian cuisine without such a hearty and delicious dish like dumplings. They can be prepared from any meat: pork, chicken, lamb, beef. And in Siberia they are made from venison and elk meat. In addition, they can be boiled in water, fried in a pan (boiled), cooked in the microwave or in a double boiler, and served with different types of sauce. It all depends on your taste preferences.

Instructions
Step 1
To prepare minced meat, take 1, 5 kilograms of pork pulp, cut into pieces, removing the film. To make the dumplings juicy, take meat with fat. Peel the onion, cut it into 4 pieces. Twist everything together through a meat grinder, sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste, mix.
Step 2
To make the dough, take 600 grams of flour (3 cups) and sift it. Make a well in the flour, add one egg, a teaspoon of topless salt, 200 ml of cold or warm water (1 cup) and knead the dough until steep. Well-kneaded dough should not stick to your hands.
Step 3
Cut the kneaded dough into 3 pieces. Then roll one piece into a thin layer (if you like, you can thicker) and cut out the circles with a glass (glass). Put the minced meat on each circle with a teaspoon, fold in half. Then pinch to form a dumpling and connect the two ends.
Step 4
Do the same with the rest of the dough pieces. Place the blinded dumplings on a floured cutting board.
Step 5
Put a double boiler on the stove (plug the electric one into the network), pour the required amount of water into it, put stuck dumplings in each compartment and put on fire. The dumplings should be steamed from the moment the water boils for 30 minutes.

Ready-made dumplings can be served with butter, sour cream, garlic sauce, ketchup, vinegar - it all depends on your taste. If desired, the dish can be sprinkled with finely chopped herbs.
