Step 1
Inspect your steamer every time you start cooking. It must be clean, free from product residues and signs of deformation. Fill the reservoir with a sufficient volume of water, but no more than the maximum mark. Place food in a bowl and place it over the water tank. Close the lid and turn on the steamer.
Step 2
Watch the water level in the steamer. Especially if it takes a long time to prepare the dish. During the operation of the steamer, the water boils and evaporates. Instead of water, pour wine, spice broth, or broth into the tank. Then the dish will be saturated with special aromas.
Step 3
Steam almost any food - meat, fish, eggs, vegetables. Dumplings, dumplings, casseroles and desserts are excellent. It is not recommended to steam pasta, as it is very soft and can stick together. It is impractical to cook beans and peas in a double boiler; this will take at least two hours. Also, do not steam by-products and some types of mushrooms, which must be boiled in large amounts of water to remove toxic substances.

Place food in one layer. If you cook different dishes on several tiers, then arrange them correctly. Place fish, juicy products on the lower level - moisture from them will not get on the products from below. At the same time, keep track of the cooking time in order to remove the tier with the finished dish in time.

Cook fish for about 9 minutes, chicken fillet - 12 minutes, vegetables and mushrooms - 20 - 25 minutes, dumplings - about half an hour, lush omelet - 20 minutes.

Do not open the lid when food is being prepared to avoid severe burns. In addition, the cooking time increases with each opening of the lid. After finishing cooking, leave the food in the steamer to keep it warm.

Only wash the steamer when it has completely cooled down. Empty the water tank, rinse all parts of the steamer with warm water and dry thoroughly.
