There are several options for preparing this Spanish dish - with white and red wine. In any case, in order to cook pork in wine sauce, be sure to use pork neck or sirloin pieces.

- pork - 1 kg;
- onions - 200 g;
- butter - 250 g;
- flour - 2 tbsp. spoons;
- dry red wine - 200 ml;
- water - 200 ml;
- salt - 1 tsp;
- pepper - 1 tsp
- For pork in white wine sauce:
- pork - 1 kg;
- flour - 2 tbsp. l.;
- butter - 2 tablespoons;
- dry white wine - 3/4 tbsp.;
- cubed broth;
- tomato paste - 3-4 tablespoons;
- sugar - 1 tsp;
- lemon juice or vinegar;
- walnuts.
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the onion into small cubes. Place a skillet over high heat and place half of the cooked butter on top of it. When the butter is melted, add the onion and saute until golden brown, stirring constantly to prevent it from burning.
Step 2
Add flour to the onion and stir to avoid clumps. Fry the flour for very little, no more than a quarter of a minute. Pour red wine into the mixture and then water. Stir and remove from heat.
Step 3
Cut the pork into 1 to 1.5 centimeter thick slices. Sprinkle them with salt and black pepper. Take a baking sheet and pour half of the wine sauce over it. Place the pork pieces on top of it. Pour the remaining sauce over the meat and the melted butter on top.
Step 4
Place the baking sheet in an oven preheated to 220 ° C for one hour. During this time, take out the pork (two to three times) and pour over the resulting meat juice. Take out the cooked meat, cut it into pieces and place it on a platter. Pour the sauce over the pork. Serve boiled or baked vegetables, steamed or boiled rice as a side dish.

To cook pork according to the following recipe, you will need dry white wine.
Cut the pork into several large pieces. Salt them and fry them in a skillet in sunflower oil. Fry the onions separately until golden brown and add to the pork.

Put a saucepan of water on the fire and cook the broth from the cubes. Chop the walnuts in a mortar or cut them with a knife, finely chop the herbs and pour it all into the broth. Also add tomato paste, salt, sugar and pepper, and then dry white wine and two to three drops of lemon juice or vinegar.
Step 7
Place the pork in a large platter and pour over the sauce. Let the dish stand for half an hour. As a side dish, you can serve buckwheat porridge, vegetables in any form (fresh, fried, stewed).
