Red mullet is a fish, according to this recipe it will turn out to be satisfying, tasty and retain all the nutrients in itself. Using tomatoes will also add some health benefits.
It is necessary
- - 2 red mullets;
- - 450 g of tomatoes in their juice;
- - 50 g of parsley, butter;
- - 10 g fresh thyme;
- - 3 cloves of garlic;
- - 4 tbsp. tablespoons of olive oil;
- - salt, pepper, sugar.
Instructions
Step 1
Throw the tomatoes in their own juice on a sieve to drain the excess moisture from them. Remove the skin from the tomatoes, cut the pulp into large cubes. Peel the cloves of garlic, rinse the herbs, cut.
Step 2
Place the tomatoes in a saucepan, bring to a boil, season with pepper and salt, add sugar and chopped fresh herbs. Let the mixture boil, then immediately turn off the heat. It turned out to be a light side dish for fish, it can be served not only with red mullet.
Step 3
Remove all scales from the fish, cut it into fillets. Then fry on one side (light side) in olive oil with the addition of butter, chopped garlic and the remaining thyme until cooked.
Step 4
Place the sautéed red mullet on top of the tomato garnish. Before serving, you can decorate the finished dish with rosemary or basil leaves and sprinkle with olives, which must first be grated on a fine grater and slightly dried.
