The longer the vanilla pod is, the more valuable it is. Vanilla has a unique property - to enhance the taste and make the dish richer and brighter! That is why vanilla is used not only for flavoring sweet dishes, but also for salads, fish dishes and even meat. The aroma of vanilla is especially noticeable in liquids: syrups, jellies, jams, creams. However, it is worth remembering that the sweet, delicate smell of vanilla is deceiving, the main thing is not to overdo it! Add a few extra drops and your dish will taste bitter!
Step 2
To obtain vanilla sugar, you need to prepare ordinary granulated sugar, powdered sugar and a vanilla pod.
Step 3
Take a vanilla pod, cut it lengthwise with a knife, peel off all the oily seeds, they are the most special, most aromatic part of vanilla.

The resulting vanilla powder must be mixed with granulated sugar. As a rule, one stick of vanilla is enough for 1 kilogram of sugar. We also put the pod in granulated sugar.
Step 6
If you have used the seeds to make a cream or other dish, only a vanilla bean can be used to make vanilla sugar.
