Most often, terrine is prepared from meat or vegetables. I suggest making a chocolate terrine. This dessert is quite easy to make, and it is also insanely delicious.

It is necessary

  • - butter - 125 g;
  • - dark chocolate - 300 g;
  • - corn syrup or honey - 3 tablespoons;
  • - biscuit cookies - 200 g;
  • - mini marshmallows - 100 g;
  • - cognac - 2 tablespoons.
  • For glaze:
  • - cream - 50 g;
  • - dark chocolate - 100 g.

Instructions

Step 1

Use a rectangular baking dish to prepare the terrine. Then cover with cling film so that the ends hang over the edges of the mold.

Step 2

Break the dark chocolate into small pieces, then place it in a bowl and melt in a water bath. When it's completely melted, add ingredients such as butter, corn syrup, or honey and cognac to it. Add the latter as you wish. Mix everything thoroughly. You should have a homogeneous mass.

Step 3

Cut the cookies into small pieces, combine with mini marshmallows. Put the resulting mixture to a homogeneous mass of chocolate. Mix everything properly.

Step 4

Put the resulting chocolate mass in a prepared form. Gently spreading it over the surface, tamp it lightly. In this form, send the future chocolate terrine in the cold until it hardens, that is, for about 2 hours.

Step 5

While the dessert is frozen in the refrigerator, it's time to make the icing for it. It is easy enough to prepare it. To do this, heat the cream on the stove in a saucepan, then put the chopped chocolate into pieces. Allow the resulting homogeneous mass to cool down.

Step 6

Cover the surface of the dessert with the cooled icing. After applying one layer of creamy chocolate mass, let it harden. Once this happens, apply the remaining frosting. Chocolate terrine is ready!
