To prepare the "Korean Carrot" dish, you will need the following products:

  • carrots 700 g;
  • onions 60 g;
  • garlic 20 g;
  • soy sauce 20 g;
  • vinegar 3% 120 g;
  • vegetable oil 90 g;
  • sesame seed 5 g;
  • ground black pepper 0.5 g;
  • ground red hot pepper 0.5 g;
  • coriander 0.5 g;
  • salt to taste.

The output of the finished dish according to this layout will be 1000 g. The recipe indicates the net weight of the products.

Mix soy sauce with water in a 1: 1 ratio. Cut the carrots into thin long strips, season with salt, add vinegar and marinate for 30 minutes. Carrots can be grated on a special grater. Then the carrots need to be thrown on a sieve and allowed to drain, add black pepper, sugar and soy sauce.

Cut the onion into thin half rings and fry in vegetable oil until golden brown, then remove it from the oil and add to the carrots prepared in advance. Ground red pepper, coriander and sesame seeds should be well heated in the oil in which the onions were fried. Mix boiling oil with spices with carrots.

Finely chop or grind the garlic, add to the carrots. Mix everything gently, close tightly with a lid and cool in the refrigerator. After cooling it can be served.
