This light and incredibly tasty dessert came to us from France. Literally translated, "blancmange" is a jelly made from dairy products. If you opt for sour cream, you get an airy and delicate delicacy. It will be the best addition to baby food. But this dish is far from being dietary.

It is necessary

  • - 2 tablespoons of gelatin;
  • - 500 grams of sour cream;
  • - 3 eggs;
  • - 150 grams of butter;
  • - 1/4 cup sugar;
  • - 2 teaspoons of cocoa;
  • - some grated dark chocolate for decoration.

Instructions

Step 1

Pour gelatin with a little cold water and leave to swell for an hour.

Step 2

Mix sour cream, egg yolks, a quarter cup of sugar, 150 grams of pre-melted butter and beat until smooth.

Step 3

Beat the egg whites separately until steep peaks.

Step 4

Mix both masses, but do it as carefully as possible so that the proteins do not fall off.

Step 5

Dissolve gelatin in the microwave or heat over low heat until completely dissolved. But don't let it boil. Add to blank for blancmange.

Step 6

Divide the resulting mass into 2 parts: add cocoa to the first and mix well. Leave the second part of the dessert unchanged, but you can add fruits - canned pineapples, bananas, oranges.

Step 7

Pour the white layer into the mold one by one and let it thicken a little. Then pour in the chocolate mass. So alternate layers.

Step 8

When the dessert hardens, you can decorate it with grated dark chocolate and serve.
