In addition to creating a festive mood, tangerines have a number of useful properties, including medicinal ones.

There are a lot of vitamins and nutrients in the chemical composition of tangerines. In terms of the content of vitamin C, a little orange, in addition, mandarin contains other vitamins of the B group, vitamins PP, A, E, K. The fruit pulp contains many minerals (calcium, copper, iron, manganese, zinc), organic acids and phytoncides. Even the peel of tangerines is useful, from which tangerine oil is made, it is thanks to it that tangerine has a very characteristic aroma.

So what is a regular tangerine good for? This fruit has a lot of useful properties:

  • Thanks to potassium, folic acid and various antioxidants contained in this fruit, it has a beneficial effect on the nervous system and harmonizes its work. Folic acid supplementation reduces the risk of cognitive dysfunction and Alzheimer's disease. Potassium helps increase blood flow to the brain. In addition, tangerines are such delicious antidepressants that give energy, relieve anxiety and fatigue.
  • Thanks to all the same folic acid and B vitamins, tangerines are useful during pregnancy, as they help not only to strengthen the mother's nervous system, but also in the formation of the child's nervous system. In addition, tangerine infusions, like the fruits themselves, help to reduce the manifestation of toxicosis in pregnant women.
  • Tangerines contain a high level of potassium, while sodium is significantly less. It is this combination that helps the blood vessels maintain optimal blood pressure. The combination of vitamins B6 and C, potassium helps to strengthen the cardiovascular system and reduce the possibility of a heart attack, coronary heart disease, hypertension, atherosclerosis, and stroke. The largest amount of substances useful for the heart is contained in the white membrane located between the lobules.
  • Mandarins strengthen the immune system due to vitamin C, providing general strengthening, antibacterial and antiviral effects. Mandarins are indicated for consumption after viral diseases. In addition, they are good prevention.

Vitamin B12 stimulates hair growth, strengthens hair and prevents gray hair. Mandarins have long been used as a treatment for acne, minor cuts and wounds, and some skin conditions.
  • Due to their high fiber content, tangerines help to improve the functioning of the intestines and the entire digestive system.
  • Mandarins have a decongestant and decongestant effect, due to which they are actively used to treat respiratory diseases - bronchitis, asthma, cough.
  • Mandarin juice is used in the treatment of cystitis, as well as kidney and bladder stones.
  • Due to the high content of antioxidants, tangerine is a good prevention of malignant tumors.
  • Due to their low calorie content, tangerines are recommended for obesity, as well as the need for therapeutic fasting.

Contraindications to the use of tangerines

Despite the impressive list of positive qualities of the product, it also has a number of contraindications. They should not be used for the following diseases:

For colds and viral infections accompanied by a high fever, you can make tangerine juice, but you can use no more than half a glass. It can be diluted with water.

With bronchitis and bronchial asthma, you can drink a glass of tangerine juice in the morning.

Products: 2 tablespoons of chopped tangerine peel, 1 glass of vodka
