Among the interesting snacks, a pita roll has recently gained particular popularity, which can be included in any festive menu. This dish is prepared from thin Armenian lavash stuffed with ham, chicken, any red fish. The cakes must be fresh, you can use the store ones. We will make a pita roll with salmon.
It is necessary
- freshly ground black or white pepper;
- lemon or lime juice - 2 wedges;
- Red caviar;
- homemade mayonnaise - 3 tablespoons;
- green onions - 1 bunch;
- leeks - 1 pc;
- dill greens;
- fresh cucumber - 1 pc;
- soft cheese "Almette" or "Philadelphia" - 180 g;
- fresh thin Armenian lavash - 2 pcs;
- slightly salted salmon fillet - 300 g.
Instructions
Step 1
Cut lightly salted salmon into fillets, no skin or bones should be left. Cut it into thin strips. Sprinkle the fish with lemon juice and let sit for 10 minutes.
Step 2
Finely chop the onion and herbs. Peel the cucumber and grate it on a coarse grater. If you get a lot of juice, drain some.
Step 3
Combine the dill, mayonnaise, cucumber, onion and cheese in a separate bowl. Pepper the pieces of red fish. Almost finished with the filling, now it's time to make a pita roll.
Step 4
Fold the cake in half, apply the raw mixture evenly on it. Spread slices of salmon on top, you can add salmon red caviar. Leave 7 centimeters around the edge. Roll the cake tightly.
Step 5
Place the pita roll in plastic wrap or in a bag and refrigerate for at least an hour. This is necessary so that it is better saturated.
Step 6
Then take out the dish and cut into 3 cm wide pieces. Arrange on a platter and serve as a cold snack of pita bread roll.
