To prepare a salad of chicken, prunes and cucumbers, you will need: 300 g of chicken fillet, 6 chicken eggs, 200 g of prunes, 2 fresh cucumbers, 70 g of walnuts, mayonnaise, salt, fresh herbs for decoration.

Prunes are a very healthy product. It is rich in B vitamins, as well as vitamins C, E and K. In addition, prunes contain a large amount of minerals and antioxidants.

In order to prepare such a salad, first of all prepare the chicken fillet. It is best to choose chilled meat, but if the chicken was frozen, let it thaw at room temperature. Next, rinse the fillets thoroughly under warm running water, remove the film if necessary. Place the chicken in a saucepan, cover with cold water, salt and simmer over medium heat. Cook the chicken fillet until cooked through.

You can also use smoked or grilled chicken to make this salad. It is allowed to add your favorite seasonings and spices to the salad.

While the chicken is cooking, prepare the prunes. Rinse the dried fruit, then place in a small bowl. Pour the prunes with hot boiled water and leave to soak for 20-30 minutes. This is necessary in order for it to become softer. After the time has passed, place the prunes on a cutting board and cut into large strips, set aside.

During this time, while you were preparing the dried fruits, the chicken should have been boiled. Place it on a dish or plate and let cool to room temperature. Next, cut the chicken into strips. By the way, it is better to split the chicken with your hands, and not cut it with a knife, so the meat will not lose its juiciness.

Place chicken eggs in the required amount in a saucepan, cover with cold water and salt. Place a saucepan over medium heat and boil the eggs. Cool them, then peel them, separate the whites from the yolks. Next, grate the whites on a coarse grater, and the yolks on a fine grater.

Take cucumbers, rinse them under cold water and pat dry with a tea towel. Then place the cucumbers on a cutting board and peel them with a sharp knife. Cut off the ends of the cucumbers on both sides, then cut the vegetables into strips in the same way as other ingredients. Peel the walnuts and chop finely with a knife.

Now that all the ingredients are ready, you can start shaping the salad. Take a salad bowl and put the sliced chicken fillet in the first layer, brush the chicken with mayonnaise, salt and pepper as desired. Place prunes on top of the chicken and sprinkle with chopped walnuts. Next, lay out the egg whites and brush the layer with mayonnaise. Lay out the cucumbers, mayonnaise, and with the last layer evenly distribute the egg yolks. Refrigerate the salad for 1-2 hours to soak well.

Salad with chicken, prunes and cucumber is ready! You can garnish with fresh parsley and dill before serving.
