  • - 1 tbsp. sunflower oil
  • - 2 tbsp. mayonnaise
  • - ½ kg minced pork
  • - 1 egg
  • - 1 head of onion
  • - salt, pepper to taste
  • For the sauce:
  • - 1 head of onion
  • - 1 red pepper
  • - 1 yellow pepper
  • - 1 tbsp. tomato paste
  • - 1 carrot
  • - 2 tbsp. sunflower oil
  • - a pinch of sugar
  • - a pinch of oregano

Instructions

Step 1

Buckwheat must be sorted out and washed in water several times. Then dry and fry in a dry hot frying pan, stirring constantly, for 3-4 minutes. Then buckwheat should be poured into a saucepan with 2 cups of salted boiling water and cooked for 18-20 minutes.

Step 2

Peel and finely chop the onion. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the onion in it until translucent, 5-6 minutes.

Step 3

Now you need to prepare the sauce. To do this, peel the onions and carrots, remove the core from the pepper. Onions must be cut into cubes, peppers and carrots into strips.

Step 4

Fry the onions in a pan with heated oil for about 3-4 minutes. Then add the carrots and peppers and cook for another 5 minutes.

Step 5

Dilute tomato paste in 1 glass of water and pour into a pan with vegetables. Pour sugar, oregano and a pinch of salt there, mix everything and heat for 3 minutes. Then set aside.

Step 6

Buckwheat should be allowed to cool. Minced meat through a meat grinder along with buckwheat. Add egg, fried onions, mayonnaise, pepper and salt to taste, mix everything thoroughly.

Step 7

It is necessary to form medium-sized cutlets from minced meat and fry them on both sides until golden brownish crust, 5-7 minutes per side.

Step 8

After that, the Greek people need to be transferred to a refractory form, pour over the sauce and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes at a temperature of 190 degrees.
