American classic: Tender chicken with crispy salad, spicy cheese and croutons. The salad tastes even better if served while warm. Just serve crunchy warm white bread slices with it.
It is necessary
- - 4 chicken breast fillets;
- - 2 sheets of romaine lettuce;
- - 4 slices of white bread;
- - ½ cup grated Parmesan;
- - finely grated lemon zest and juice of half a lemon;
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of finely chopped seasoning mixture;
- - freshly ground black pepper;
- - 4 tbsp. tablespoons of olive oil;
- - ½ cup Caesar sauce.
Instructions
Step 1
In a shallow bowl, combine lemon zest and lemon juice with 1 tablespoon oil and seasoning. Add chicken breast and stir again. Leave to cool for 15 minutes.
Step 2
Divide the lettuce into leaves, wash and dry. Cut the leaves into thin strips, then arrange on 4 plates. Cut the crust off the bread and cut it into 1.5 cm cubes.
Step 3
Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a skillet. Fry the chicken in it for 5-6 minutes on each side, until the pieces of meat are golden brown. Then remove the chicken from the pan and set it aside.
Step 4
To make croutons, heat the remaining butter in a skillet, add the bread cubes and fry, stirring frequently, for 3-4 minutes, until golden brown.
Step 5
Cut the chicken into slices. Pour the sauce over the lettuce leaves and stir gently. Top with warm chicken pieces, croutons and grated Parmesan cheese. Season to taste and serve.
