Why parboiled rice is harmful
Frequent consumption of parboiled rice can cause constipation, especially if a person is prone to constipation. The starch contained in such rice can provoke fermentation processes in the intestines. All this can negatively affect the overall well-being of the body.
It is worth remembering that rice removes some salts and a large amount of water from the body. Of course, this is useful in some cases. But if initially there is a lack of sodium, then it is better not to abuse this product. Especially if a girl is on a salt-free diet, then eating rice in this case can significantly disrupt salt metabolism.
Do not combine rice with protein-rich foods such as meat and fish. Although this is the most common combination on everyone's table. But for the digestion of these types of food, different components are needed. Fermentation processes may occur, digestion will drag on and become more difficult. The best combination is vegetable salad and rice side dish.
Excessive consumption of rice contributes to acidification of the body, which can negatively affect its condition. First of all, the joints and excretory organs are responsible for the acidification of the body. Bones become more fragile, and joints become painful due to the accumulation of uric acid in them.
