We take a loaf or a French baguette, it may even be a little stale - it's not scary. Cut it into slices 1-1.5 cm thick. I really like to make such French baguette croutons, they turn out to be neat round in shape and small in size - it is more convenient to eat.

In a bowl, carefully mix two eggs, a glass of milk and, if you want dessert croutons, then sugar to taste.

Preheat a frying pan, pour a little vegetable oil into it.

Now we dip each piece of bread in the resulting mixture of eggs, milk and sugar and put it in the pan. The bread should be soaked in this mixture, but not fall apart - control this process.

Fry croutons on both sides until golden brown. Top can be sprinkled with sugar or syrup again, as you wish. Delicate dessert croutons are ready! You can gobble up for a sweet soul!

You can make salty croutons in the same way. To do this, instead of sugar, add salt and spices to the milk-egg mixture, as well as finely chopped greens.
