In winter, not a single Russian feast was collected without jellied meat. This dish is not only very tasty, but also healthy. There are many different recipes for jellied meat, one of them is jellied meat with gelatin.

- beef shank - 3 kilograms;
- 2 large chicken legs;
- 2 large onions;
- 2 large carrots;
- 6 packs of gelatin;
- salt;
- pepper;
- Bay leaf.
Instructions
Step 1
Put water on fire.
Step 2
Cut the beef shank into pieces, rinse well and dip in boiling water. As soon as the water boils again, turn off the gas.
Step 3
Continuously remove foam and grease from the surface of the water. As soon as the foam stops forming, drain the broth and transfer the meat to another saucepan.
Step 4
Cut the carrots and onions into cubes, add to the chopped meat, cover with boiling water and put on fire. Simmer for 6 hours.
Step 5
Remove the skin from the legs and remove all the fat. Add the legs to the meat and vegetables cooked for 6 hours. Cook for 30 minutes, then season with salt and pepper, add bay leaf and cook for another 20 minutes.
Step 6
Remove the pan from heat, put the meat and vegetables, strain the broth through a double layer of cheesecloth or a fine sieve.
Step 7
Pour gelatin with half of the broth. As soon as it swells, dissolve in a water bath, mixing with the remaining broth.
Step 8
Once the meat has cooled, cut it into cubes.
Step 9
Divide meat and vegetables into molds and cover with dissolved gelatin. Place in a cool place to cure.
Step 10
Jellied meat with gelatin can be served with mustard.
