Tequila is a strong alcoholic beverage. Not everyone can withstand the alcohol content equal to 51%, therefore it is most often used to prepare various cocktails. Here tequila loses its considerable strength and is enriched with various flavors.
Sunrise cocktail
One of the most popular is the Sunrise tequila cocktail. Its color is similar to sunrise or sunset, and its taste is soft and refreshing. Mexicans - the founders of tequila, are sure that a glass of such a cocktail will energize and give you a long-lasting mood.
In order to prepare a colorful drink, you will need:
- 50 g of silver tequila;
- 150 g of orange juice;
10 g grenadine (sweet red syrup)
- 200 g ice cubes.
Now take a tall glass and put a few ice cubes almost to the top. Then you need to tilt it a little, pour in the tequila so that it flows into the glass along the wall. Next, syrup and orange juice are added.
Now you need to take a spoon and slightly stir the contents. Decorating a drink is also pretty simple. A thin circle of orange is taken, cut along a radius and put on a glass. The Sunrise cocktail is ready.
Tequila boom
For the next cocktail, you only need 2 ingredients:
- 50 g of silver tequila;
- 100 g sprite.
The drink is prepared in no more than a minute, it is not for nothing that the Spaniards call it fast.
Tequila is poured into a glass with a thick bottom, and then a sprite (it is better to take Schweppes). Now the fun begins. Put your hand or a napkin on top of the glass, try to close it completely. Next, you need to make a glass in circular movements clockwise along the surface of the table 3 times, then - the same number of times to lightly hit the bottom of the glass on the table. At the same time, they also pronounce the magic words three times: "Boom".
After that, the contents are immediately drunk in one gulp. Feelings will be wonderful. Sprite foam will make the cocktail airy, easy to drink and refreshing. The main thing is to observe the measure and not get carried away with the drink excessively.
Margarita
This cocktail, if someone has not tried it, then probably heard its name. By purchasing the ingredients you need, this drink is fairly easy to make at home. It is suitable for a holiday, party. Here's what a home bartender should have in his arsenal:
- 50 g of silver tequila;
- 10 g of sugar;
- 25 g of orange liqueur;
- 2 g of salt;
- juice of half a lime;
- 200 g ice cubes.
If for the two previous versions of tequila cocktails no special devices were needed, then a shaker will be needed for this. You need to put all the ingredients (except salt) in it and shake well several times.
For the cocktail "Margarita" you also need a special glass with a high thin leg and a wide top part. It must be immersed in water or juice for a couple of seconds, turning the glass upside down, and then in salt. You will get a salty white border.
It remains to carefully pour the cocktail from the shaker into a glass (without ice), decorate the glass with a lime slice and enjoy the aromatic drink.
