  • For the sauce: onion - 2 pcs., Carrots - 1 pc., Pepper - 2 pcs., Tomatoes - 2 pcs., Sour cream - 100 ml.
  • Minced meat - 500 g, onion - 2 pcs.

Instructions

Step 1

Knead the dough from flour, eggs, milk and boiled water in a bowl. It is important to respect the proportions. The dumplings dough should not swell during cooking, but should roll out easily. The ideal flour to egg ratio is 2 cups to 1 egg. To avoid lumps, all liquids are added to the flour, and not vice versa. After kneading the dough, add 1 teaspoon of sunflower oil for softness. Leave the finished dough for 30 minutes so that the gluten swells and becomes soft and elastic.

Step 2

Cooking the sauce. Dice the onion, grate the carrots on a coarse grater, finely chop the bell peppers and tomatoes. Chop the garlic finely if desired. First fry the onion in a frying pan, then add the carrots, then the pepper and tomatoes. Season with spices. When the vegetables are juiced, add sour cream (100 g) and, if necessary, water. Simmer until half cooked.

Step 3

Minced meat can be taken with any meat. To improve the taste, you should add onions chopped in a blender or in a meat grinder. Season with spices.

Step 4

Divide the dough into pieces. Take one piece and roll it thinly into a rectangular shape. It is more convenient to roll this form into rolls. Spread the minced meat thinly on the layer and roll it up. Cut it into pieces. The height of the pieces depends on the form in which they will be baked.

Step 5

Pour some vegetable sauce on the bottom of the baking dish to avoid burning. Arrange the dumplings, cut up. The lower cut can be pinched (so that the meat "juice" does not flow out). Pour over the rest of the sauce. Bake in the oven for 20-40 minutes (depending on the oven) until tender.
